WASHINGTON, D.C. (LifeSiteNews) \u2014 Pro-life U.S. Rep. Brandon Gill\u2019s (R-TX) recent grilling of an abortion advocate has provoked hostility from pro-abortion voices, but arguably the most revealing so far has come from U.S. Rep. Shri Thanedar (D-MI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During a recent hearing<\/a>\u00a0on Capitol Hill, Gill illustrated the barbarity of abortion by pressing abortion advocate Jessica Waters on her \u201cfavorite method of abortion.\u201d She refused to answer as he pressed on with graphic descriptions of several abortion methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t want to talk about abortion itself \u2013 why is that? Is it because it\u2019s uncomfortable to talk about?\u201d Gill asked. \u201cIt should be uncomfortable [\u2026] I wouldn\u2019t want to talk about this either if I were you, because it is barbaric and evil.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On X, Indian-born Thanedar, who represents part of Detroit,\u00a0opined<\/a>\u00a0on Gill\u2019s remarks, \u201cRemember folks, Republicans are NOT the party of creepy men trying to intrude their way into women\u2019s private business, they just want to interrogate you about your favorite abortion method at a national congressional hearing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n

Gill responded by posing his original question to Thanedar, who replied, \u201cMy favorite kind of abortion is the kind that\u2019s safe, legal, accessible, and none of your d-mn business to regulate. And no amount of fearmongering by describing what goes on to a half-ounce fetus with no consciousness, self-awareness, or feeling of pain is going to change that.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
