Cincinnati Right to Life and Dayton Right to Life have issued a deeply urgent and emotional joint response to what they are calling the Southwest Ohio Bloodbath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Wednesday, both organizations hand-delivered a letter to Governor Mike DeWine <\/a>to ensure he fully understood the tragedy unfolding in a region he knows well\u2014a region where babies in the womb are being killed at a horrifying and unprecedented rate. The southwest corner of the Buckeye State, long familiar to the governor and his family, has become a place where innocent children in the womb are losing their lives every single day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier this week, it was reported that 60 babies<\/a>\u2014every single for-profit business day\u2014<\/strong>are either decapitated, dismembered, or suffocated in the womb by their own mother\u2019s \u201cchoice.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Laura Strietmann of Cincinnati Right to Life shared that they composed the letter and ensured it was hand-delivered so the governor could grasp \u201cfirsthand the tragedy unfolding in Ohio.\u201d Margie Christie of Dayton Right to Life added that after years of coming close to shutting down Martin Haskell\u2019s late-term abortion business, its sale to Planned Parenthood has resulted in an explosion of innocent lives lost\u2014an increase so staggering and brutal that neither organization ever imagined witnessing such devastation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pray for Governor DeWine to sign an executive order<\/a> to defund Planned Parenthood from Medicaid reimbursements, as governors in 3 other states, inlcuding most-recently, Nebraska<\/a>, have done. He has the authority to stop some of this bloodshed, and Ohio\u2019s mothers and babies urgently need his leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please contact the Governor and implore him to take this action <\/a>—<\/strong>an action that, while courageous, is one his faith should already be calling him to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
