When Governor Mike DeWine signed the state budget this summer, one of the included provisions was an update to Ohio\u2019s abortion reporting system. This new online dashboard<\/a>\u2014launched in September\u2014offers monthly abortion data, providing greater transparency into what is happening in our communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the most recent numbers, published in mid-October, 429 abortions were committed in Hamilton County in September 2025.<\/strong> If we can rely on these numbers\u2014reported by the abortion industry itself\u2014that means more than 105 abortions per week, or about 26 each day. Every hour, four precious babies lost their lives inside the massive abortion facility on Auburn Avenue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hamilton County now has the second-highest number of abortions in the state, behind only Cuyahoga County. Sadly, this comes as no surprise to Cincinnati Right to Life. Our team and volunteers regularly witness out-of-state cars filling the driveway and parking lot of this for-profit business, as mothers are drawn in from across the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yet even in the face of this reality, there is hope. Our faithful sidewalk advocates<\/a> continue to stand in love outside this facility of death, offering truth, compassion, and life to all who will listen. Many cars have turned away before entering, and mothers have been guided to one of the outstanding pregnancy centers in our city\u2014places where real help, hope, and healing await. Each \u201cturn-away\u201d represents a life spared and a mother spared from untold pain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These numbers are heartbreaking. But they remind us of our mission and calling. We can\u2014and must\u2014do better. Together, we can be an extension of love and mercy to mothers in crisis, offering hope, support, and life-giving alternatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
