These cases are the DC pipe bombing investigation, the cocaine discovery at the prior administration\u2019s White House, and the leak of the Supreme Court Dobbs case.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>THE BACK STORY:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">In May 2022, Politico&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/news\/supreme-court-overturn-roe-leaked-opinion\/&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_source=housefile&amp;utm_campaign=lan&amp;utm_content=daily_digest\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">published the leaked draft decision<\/a>&nbsp;of the&nbsp;<em>Dobbs<\/em>&nbsp;case, indicating that the Supreme Court justices had voted to overturn&nbsp;<em>Roe v. Wade<\/em>&nbsp;\u2013 more than a month before the decision was officially announced. This resulted in a wave of pro-abortion protests outside the homes of the SCOTUS justices, with pro-abortion terrorist groups even&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/news\/pro-abortion-terrorists-children-supreme-court-justices\/&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_source=housefile&amp;utm_campaign=lan&amp;utm_content=daily_digest\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">threatening<\/a>&nbsp;the children of Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett. Elsewhere, pro-life centers&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/news\/pro-abortion-violence-churches-pregnancy\/&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_source=housefile&amp;utm_campaign=lan&amp;utm_content=daily_digest\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">encountered<\/a>&nbsp;threats, vandalism, and even firebombing as the nation awaited the final decision in&nbsp;<em>Dobbs<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">In October 2022, Justice Samuel Alito&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/news\/justice-alito-dobbs-leak-lives-risk\/&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_source=housefile&amp;utm_campaign=lan&amp;utm_content=daily_digest\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">spoke<\/a>&nbsp;of the seriousness of the unprecedented leak, explaining that it put the lives of the Supreme Court justices at risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u201cThe leak\u2026 made those of us who were thought to be in the majority in support of overruling&nbsp;<em>Roe<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Casey<\/em>&nbsp;targets for assassination, because it gave people a rational reason to think they could prevent that from happening by killing one of us,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">At the time, Chief Justice John Roberts&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/supreme-court\/supreme-court-says-draft-opinion-overturning-roe-v-wade-authentic-rcna27121\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">called<\/a>&nbsp;the leak a \u201csingular and egregious breach of [] trust.\u201d Although he ordered an investigation to determine who leaked the draft document to Politico, it yielded no results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>THE BOTTOM LINE:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">James A.
