On a day meant to celebrate life and motherhood, Planned Parenthood chose to release its 2023\u20132024 annual report<\/a>\u2014ironically titled “A Force for Hope.”<\/em> But for many Americans, especially those who advocate for the unborn, this report confirms what has long been known: Planned Parenthood\u2019s core business is abortion, and their increasing reliance on taxpayer dollars to carry it out is deeply troubling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The report reveals a grim milestone\u2014402,230 abortions performed in a single year<\/strong>, the highest number in the organization’s history. That\u2019s nearly 10,000 more than the previous year. As abortion numbers climb, services like cancer screenings and preventative health care continue to decline. The contrast is clear and disturbing: while life-affirming services drop, the killing of unborn children accelerates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even more alarming is how this operation is being funded. Taxpayer dollars accounted for a staggering $792.2 million<\/strong> of Planned Parenthood\u2019s revenue\u2014an increase of nearly $100 million from the year before. That means almost 40% of their funding came directly from the public<\/strong>, including Americans who oppose abortion on moral and religious grounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Planned Parenthood brands itself as a healthcare provider, yet its actions and financial priorities paint a different picture<\/a>. It is no longer reasonable to call abortion just one of many services they provide\u2014it is, as we have always known, the centerpiece of their business model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adding to the crisis, Cincinnati has now become a regional hub for abortion, drawing women from neighboring states where pro-life protections have been enacted. With Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers promoting travel to Ohio for abortions, the city is being transformed into a destination for ending pregnancies rather than preserving life. This is not healthcare\u2014it\u2019s a tragedy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The surge in out-of-state abortions only underscores the urgency of action: we must defund Planned Parenthood and cut off the public dollars fueling this industry of death. Every tax dollar sent to Planned Parenthood is a step away from supporting life and a step closer to institutionalized killing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For pro-life advocates, this report is not just a collection of numbers. It is evidence of a systemic failure: a failure to protect the most vulnerable and a failure of our government to ensure that public funds are used to promote life, not end it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s time for policymakers and the public alike to demand that funding be redirected to community health centers that truly care for both women and their unborn children\u2014without violence, without political spin, and without profit from death.\ufeff<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
