Salvation has come! And Planned Parenthood has announced the closing of&nbsp;<em>ten abortion clinics&nbsp;<\/em>since the start of 2025!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u201cWe praise God for the continued failings of Planned Parenthood, one of the most evil organizations of our time,\u201d says Troy Newman, President of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.operationrescue.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Operation Rescue<\/a>. \u201cWhen abortion clinics close, babies are saved, and God is glorified.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">All four affiliates that announced closures this year complain of financial problems including budget deficits, cuts to federal funding, and issues with reimbursements. They have also been quick to blame the Trump administration \u2013 despite Trump only being in office less than four months.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u201cPlanned Parenthood will always play the victim,\u201d adds Newman, \u201cwhile their Chief Executive takes home a six figure salary and the whole organization raked in around $700 million in American tax dollars in 2023. Planned Parenthood has been greedy, plain and simple, and Americans are catching on. This abortion giant is finally falling apart \u2013 and we praise God for it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:24px\"><strong>ILLINOIS \u2013 FOUR CLINICS CLOSED FOR GOOD<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">In January 2025, citing a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/planned-parenthood-illinois\/newsroom\/planned-parenthood-of-illinois-restructures-to-ensure-sustainability-for-the-future\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">financial shortfall<\/a>,\u201d Planned Parenthood of Illinois announced the closing of four locations \u2013 Englewood, Ottawa, Decatur and Bloomington. All four offered medical abortions. All four have since been removed from the Planned Parenthood website.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:24px\"><strong>MICHIGAN \u2013 FOUR CLINICS CLOSING BY END OF APRIL<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">On April 2, also citing&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/planned-parenthood-michigan\/newsroom\/in-the-face-of-historic-attacks-and-funding-threats-planned-parenthood-of-michigan-is-restructuring-operations-statewide-to-protect-the-organizations-long-term-sustainability\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">money woes<\/a>, Planned Parenthood of Michigan announced the imminent closure of three locations that commit medical abortions: Jackson, Petoskey, and Marquette. In addition, the affiliate\u2019s Ann Arbor West location, which only offers medical abortions, will close and fold into a second Ann Arbor center, which commits medical and surgical abortions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:22px\"><strong>VERMONT \u2013 ONE CLINIC CLOSING BY JUNE 3RD<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">On April 8, Planned Parenthood of Northern New England announced the closing of its St. Johnsbury location, which commits medical abortions. As with the other affiliates, PPNNE cited \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/planned-parenthood-northern-new-england\/newsroom\/planned-parenthood-of-northern-new-england-to-close-st-johnsbury-vermont-health-center\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a deficit budget<\/a>\u201d and \u201cserious financial hardship.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:24px\"><strong>NEW YORK \u2013 FLAGSHIP CLINIC CLOSING SOON<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">As Operation Rescue\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.operationrescue.org\/infamous-flagship-clinic-of-planned-parenthood-greater-new-york-closing-building-already-for-sale\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reported last month<\/a>, Planned Parenthood of Greater New York recently announced the pending closure of its flagship location, the infamous Manhattan Health Center located at 26 Bleecker Street in New York City. This affiliate blamed \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/planned-parenthood-greater-new-york\/about\/news\/planned-parenthood-to-sell-26-bleecker-street-home-of-the-manhattan-health-center-to-save-services-for-underserved-communities\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">inflation and stagnant reimbursement rates<\/a>\u201d for the decision to close the surgical facility and sell the building.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">In August 2024, this same affiliate announced the upcoming closure of four other New York locations \u2013 Goshen, Amsterdam, Cobleskill, and Staten Island \u2013 citing \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/planned-parenthood-greater-new-york\/about\/news\/citing-financial-challenges-planned-parenthood-of-greater-new-york-moves-to-temporarily-pause-deep-sedation-services-in-manhattan-and-close-four-health-centers-2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">compounding financial and political challenges<\/a>.\u201d Despite the announcement, Operation Rescue\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.operationrescue.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/2024-Survey-Report_UPDATED_Online-Version.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Annual Survey<\/a>&nbsp;found these four clinics still offering chemical abortions at the close of last year. In the last few weeks, however, these clinics were finally and fully removed from the website \u2013 closed for good and counting as an extra four closures in 2025, in addition to the ten others that have been announced.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u201cWe pray every abortion clinic in this nation closes,\u201d adds Newman. \u201cIn the meantime, as we approach Resurrection Sunday, we\u2019ll take the blessing of these ten killing centers shuttered since the start of the year.
