Pro-Life Advocates Demand Accountability After Wright State University Abortionist Leaves Half of Baby\u2019s Body Inside Mother\u2019s Uterus<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dayton, Ohio<\/strong> \u2013 In a disturbing revelation that underscores the dangers of late-term abortion procedures, a Wright State Medical School<\/strong> faculty member and former Kettering, Ohio abortionist is being sued in Illinois for a botched abortion. Dr. Keith Reising-Kindle allegedly left the crushed skull, spine, torso, and pieces of arms and legs inside a mother\u2019s uterus while ignoring her urgent pleas for medical help. The 32-year-old mother of four live children, who traveled from Indianapolis to Illinois for the procedure, is now seeking justice after the traumatic experience that has left her physically and emotionally scarred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to reports, the mother, who was 22 weeks pregnant with her fifth child, expressed concerns that something was wrong during the procedure. Despite her pleas for help, Reisinger-Kindle allegedly ignored her warnings and left most of the baby\u2019s body inside her while perforating her uterus with a gaping quarter-sized hole, placing her life in immediate jeopardy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lawsuit filed by the mother demands accountability for the reckless actions of Reisinger-Kindle and the failure to provide adequate care. The mother claims she was told to take Tylenol and a laxative when she called to report her complications after the procedure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the lawsuit, when the mother went to her local hospital for ongoing complications, the treating emergency room surgeon found half of the remains of the preborn child in her right pelvis as well as pieces of the child\u2019s skull adhered to her intestines. The full spine of the killed preborn child was visible in an MRI as well as the skull emptied of the brain, while the torso had pieces of the dismembered legs and arms still attached. As reported by the Indiana treating physcians, the scene was from a horror show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kindle also allegedly did not administer any drugs to stop the baby\u2019s heart, meaning he potentially dismembered the baby alive.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This case serves as a grim reminder of the horrors of late-term abortion and the complete disregard for the well-being of both the mother and her child,” said Margie Christie, with Dayton Right to Life.  “Southwest Ohio is very familiar with this abortionist and his unsafe practices. Our area has become an abortion destination with over 30% of the states abortions performed in Montgomery and Hamilton counties. and cases like this are becoming more frequent.\u201d She adds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dayton and Cincinnati Right to Life are working to protect women and their children from the brutal consequences of these unregulated procedures. \u201cThe fact that this woman was ignored when she said something was wrong and was left to suffer is unconscionable,\u201d states Laura Strietmann, Executive Director of Cincinnati Right to Life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both Dayton and Cincinnati Right to Life organizations have programs in place to educate and support mothers in crisis. \u201cOur advocates are on the sidewalk in front of the local Planned Parenthood providing education and offering material assistance. Our goal is to eliminate the crisis, not the child and offer these women true support,\u201d adds Christie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2023, Keith Reisinger-Kindle as assistant professor and associate program director for the Ob\/Gyn department at the Wright State School of Medicine was awarded a $750,000 grant for social justice training at the school. With the support of Wright State University, Reisinger-Kindle created and implemented abortion coursework for medical students and residents at the university. He was, at the same time, performing abortions at the Women\u2019s Med Center in Kettering. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This tragic incident highlights the danger of all abortion and especially late-term abortion. Reisinger-Kindle had issues in Ohio and nothing was done. How is this abortionist permitted to teach at a medical school in the state of Ohio, when he has a history of severely harming so many women while killing their children? \u201c asks Laura Strietmann, Executive Director of Cincinnati Right to Life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As prolife leaders in Southwest Ohio we will continue to fight to protect the most vulnerable members of our society \u2013 the unborn \u2013 and ensure that women are not subjected to these dangerous procedures that put their lives at risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
