Terrible Day in Ohio<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As suspected, Ohio\u2019s life-saving and protective 24-hour abortion waiting period law has been put on hold<\/a> after Franklin County Judge David Young granted a preliminary injunction<\/a> on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The law that has been put on hold required mothers wait 24 hours or more for an abortion after their first in-person appointment. During the initial appointment, abortionists must give mothers information approved by the state explaining fetal development as well as information about abortion alternatives. This will not happen anymore as mothers are now able to receive abortion-on-demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Laura Strietmann, Executive Director of Cincinnati Right to Life shared, \u201cAbortion waiting periods save lives. The pause of this law will create a raging bloodbath in Ohio. As the pro-life community knew during the abortion amendment battle, the Ohio abortion industry would seek to remove any protection for women and children from our state\u2019s laws. The abortion businesses seek to destroy life and harm as many women as they can. A furry against the preborn in Ohio has been unleashed.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The majority of women who do not choose life report if they had received the proper information and support, they would have given life to their son or daughter. Nearly 70% of women with a history of abortion describe their abortions as inconsistent with their own values and preferences, with one in four describing their abortions as unwanted or coerced, according to a study published in the medical journal Cureus<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Charlotte Lozier Institute\u2019s Unwanted Abortion Study<\/strong> confirms prior research<\/a> that found over 60% of women who had abortions report high levels of pressure to abort from one or more sources. Those same women report higher levels of subsequent mental health and quality-of-life issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abortion kills children and harms women. Women in Ohio will now have immediate access to this tragedy.<\/p>\n\n\n
