Cincinnati Right to Life Joins Other Statewide Pro-life Organizations in Support of\u00a0Legislative Veto Override of HB 68\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On Friday, Governor DeWine conducted a press conference issuing an emergency executive order banning gender mutilating trans surgeries on minors in Ohio. After vetoing House Bill 68 on December 29, which had passed by a super majority, Governor DeWine shared, \u201cTo me, it\u2019s a question of life and protecting human life.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

House Bill 68<\/a>, which the governor vetoed included the Save Adolescents from Experimentation Act\u00a0(SAFE)\u00a0and the\u00a0Save Women’s Sports Act. The original bill\u00a0goes much farther than the executive order<\/a>\u00a0by protecting girls in sports from \u201ctransitioning males\u201d as well as protecting children from the danger of puberty blockers and cross hormone chemicals. The veto and the executive order\u00a0do nothing to protect children from this harm.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Planned Parenthood is not only <\/strong>in the business of destroying human life<\/a> in the womb through abortion, but harming people through cross sex hormones has become big business<\/a> <\/strong>for the abortion giant. In Cincinnati, these chemicals<\/a> that are increasingly reported to have effects that are \u201cunknown to unfavorable\u201d<\/a> are available at the local abortion business, Planned Parenthood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The original House Bill 68<\/a> would prevent Planned Parenthood from continuing to make big money from confusing and harming born children. In Europe these hormones are increasingly being restricted <\/a>as nations move to completely outlaw prescribing the chemicals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cincinnati Right to Life stands with other Ohio pro-life organizations urging an override of the veto. Every human person, created male or female from the moment of conception is the only being made in the image and likeness of our Creator. Children inside and outside the womb deserve protection from the clutches of Planned Parenthood and other groups who\u00a0gain from pursuing gender mutilation as a means of profit.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From our earliest days, Cincinnati Right to Life has stood against Planned Parenthood\u2019s anti-person agenda. Abortion, graphic over-sexualized<\/a> education for young people, and now dangerous cross hormone<\/a> <\/strong>prescribing are Planned Parenthood\u2019s ways of doing business in order to profit hundreds of millions of dollars<\/a> while also receiving large sums of tax dollars. Their business model is about destroying humanity inside and outside the womb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We implore you to contact your state legislator urging an override of Governor DeWine\u2019s veto. Keep children from the harm of Planned Parenthood inside and outside the womb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
