We held our Kickoff Rally on Tuesday, September 26, the night before the start of our Fall 40 Days for Life Campaign. With all the most important work going on at area churches to inform everyone of the November vote on Issue 1, we wondered if anyone would turn out for the rally. We were thrilled that we ended up with close to 80 people there to hear our special guest speaker, Ramona Trevi\u00f1o. She is the Outreach Director for the national 40 Days for Life team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everyone was blessed to hear the story of Ramona’s conversion from a Planned Parenthood clinic director in Texas to a pro-life speaker and author of a book entitled:  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Redeemed by Grace: A Catholic Woman\u2019s Journey to Planned Parenthood and Back in which she shared the miracle of her conversion and the goodness of Christ\u2019s mercy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ramona\u2019s resignation from Planned Parenthood resulted in her former center going out of business.  We hope to be able to share video of the kickoff and Ramona’s testimony soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can sign up to commit to prayer hours in front of our vigil site, Planned Parenthood, 2314 Auburn Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45219, by going to our website, www.40daysforlife.com\/cincinnati.<\/a> If you need help signing up, let me know. Although many of our prayer hours have minimal coverage (1 person signed up), now is the time to sign up to help increase the number of participants for each hour. The more present each hour, the more visible we are and the more prayers rising to God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Check out our Resource<\/em><\/strong> list at the right side of our website mentioned above. There you will find a spreadsheet for a quick look at our open and covered hours, a website tutorial, sign up help, prayer materials, flyers, and a general bulletin announcement for your church. Also, we do our best to have a bag of signs for your use at the site during prayer vigil hours.  Included in the bag are Community Resource Guides and Abortion Pill Reversal information which can be given to passersby and those entering PP to help them turn away from that evil place. The bag cannot be available all day if we don’t have continuous coverage from 7am to 7pm daily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
