Whether we choose to believe it or not, Black Americans have historically held Conservative views. So, when we consider the intentional taking of a human life by way of abortion, why aren\u2019t these same Black Conservative views angered with the genocide that has taken the lives of a future Fredrick Douglas, Harriet Tubman, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., or Justice Clarence Thomas?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The answer is simple. Black America continues to be entangled in the web of the \u201cWar on Poverty<\/a>\u201d programs implemented in 1964 by President Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ). Not only did these programs condition Black America to develop a \u201cvictim\u201d mentality, but they also allowed LBJ to masterfully cement in history Black America\u2019s dependency on the government.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The effects of LBJ\u2019s entitlement programs have resulted in the destruction of the Black nuclear family. In 2020, only 30%<\/a> of Black Americans were married, which should come as no surprise why Black women accounted for the highest percentages of abortions during this same year (39.2%<\/a>), and historically. This is quite tragic when we consider that Black women are less than 14%<\/a> of the U.S. population. Whose \u201cBlack Lives Matter\u201d to you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    697,000 people died of heart disease in the U.S. in 2020
    20.7% were Black, 144,279 people
    21.3% were White, 148,461 people<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Of 49 reporting areas in the U.S., there were 620,327 abortions performed
    (states are not required to report abortion procedures)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Of 30 reporting areas in the U.S. that reported ethnicity:
    243,168 (39.2%) were done on Black women
    202,847 (32.7%) were done on White women<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Note: According to the Guttmacher Institute in 2020, “there were 930,160 abortions performed in clinical settings”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
